Percutaneous Quilting Technique for the Treatment of Morel‑Lavallée Lesion

Indian Journal of Orthopedics has published an article based on the percutaneous quilting technique for the treatment of morel lavalle lesion. These lesions are post-traumatic, closed degloving injuries. Doctors at VPS Lakeshore treated 22 patients with this method between Jan 2012 to May 2018. The diagnosis was made by clinical examination and ultrasound.  All 22 cases were closely monitored until the first year was completed. All the cases uneventfully with no recurrence, re-operations, infections, iatrogenic injuries, or skin necrosis. For more details, Click here.
