Department of Emergency Medicine, VPS Lakeshore is pleased to present the EMT-A Certification course 2022-2024

BENEFITS

The program develops technicians with specialized and advanced Skills in emergency medical service management. VPS Lakeshore will grant EMT-A certiticate to candidates who successrully complete 1year training and 1 year internship. Candidates will receive a stipend during the two years of the course.

Selection by written test and interview.

ELIGIBILITY

AHA accredited BLS/ACLS/PALS providers
Must have completed their mandatory resusctation courses before entering EMT course.

80% attendance for the classes
Successful completion of the exam
Completion of full 2 years
