Comprehensive Liver Care Institute opened at VPS Lakeshore

Considering the complex nature of various liver diseases and the treatments available, VPS Lakeshore Hospital has opened a Comprehensive Liver Care (CLS) Institute, integrating the facilities comprehensively for the treatments of various ailments afflicted on the largest organ in human body. 

The new CLS institute was inaugurated by Major Ravi in a function presided over by S K Abdulla, CEO,VPS Lakeshore. Dr. Rajesekhar Perumalla, Dr. Abraham Koshy and Dr. Rajesh Antony delivered speeches on various liver diseases and treatment methods while Dr. H. Ramesh and Dr. Mohan Mathew felicitated and Mrs. Ayana, who have undergone liver transplant surgery and Bijeesh, her husband who have donated the liver, shared their experience.

The newly-opened CLS is led by senior doctors and staff with more than 25 years of experience in managing liver patients and an experience of having performed over 1500 liver transplant procedures.
