A post-Covid viral myocarditis patient is saved at a critically situation through timely medical intervention by the team of VPS Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi. Manoj from Aluva has been tested Covid positive at home and turned negative after 14 days. He had been admitted to the hospital when he started showing post-Covid symptoms such as hypertension and breathlessness. At the time of admission, he had symptoms of kidney failure and low cardiac output. 

With the assistance of VA ECMO (Veno-Arterial Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation), an advanced medical support system and the intervention of Dr. Anand Kumar, Cardiologist, and the hard work of the entire team, the crew of VPS Lakeshore ensured the health of that person is restored in a good condition when discharged.
